BVI Beaches are as Beautiful as Ever

BVI Traveller has just returned from 5 weeks in the BVI and can personally say that the beaches here are as beautiful as ever. During my trip I had a chance to visit a majority of the beaches on Tortola including those at Smuggler’s Cove, Long Bay, Apple Bay, Cane Garden Bay, Brewers Bay, Josiah’s Bay, Lambert Bay, Little Bay, Long Bay East and Trellis Bay. I am happy to report that all of them looking very good since Irma. And, from what I have heard from other visitors I met, so are the beaches are Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada and the smaller islands.

While many have lost a number of palm trees, it seems that the sea grape trees and other flora are filling in nicely. The sand between your toes is still soft, the water is delightfully warm and there is a beach bar nearby ready with your favorite tropical drink.

So get yourself a good book, reserve a seat on the next flight to paradise and say “hello to sunshine!”.
