Over 45 Hotels and Villas Have Reopened After Irma!

The hotel industry in the BVI has made a good start towards recovery, but still has a long way to go. A number of hotels and villas suffered less damage than others and have made the necessary repairs in order to reopen for the current tourist season. Rooms are still scarce, however, as many of the larger resorts such as The Bitter End, Cooper Island, Little Dix Bay, Peter Island and Scrub Island remain closed until mid to late 2018 thus causing a shortage of rooms on the island. Fortunately, many of the smaller properties have fared better and are now open for business.
