NauticEd Sailing School Raises $70,000 for BVI Recovery!

Grant Headifen, Director of NauticEd, a global online sailing education, certification, and charter broker company made a ceremonial presentation of a check to the British Virgin Islands at the 2017 Annapolis boat show. After Irma and Maria devastated the BVI, NauticEd reached out to their students worldwide for donations and was able to raise close to $70,000 for the islands recovery effort. The money went to Richard Branson’s Virgin Unite BVI Fund. Headifen is no stranger to the British Virgin Islands having written the BVI Chart Briefing course which is a comprehensive course on the BVI’s used by all the BVI yacht charter companies.
