Great news for visitors with flights arriving in Saint Thomas too late to make the 4:15 PM ferry from Charlotte Amalie or the 5:00 from Red Hook!
Starting on November 10, 2019 and continuing until the end of the year, Road Town Fast Ferry has added a 5:30 PM boat from Charlotte Amalie to Road Town. The new late ferry will operate on WEEKENDS only (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). BVI Customs and Immigration, which normally closes at 7 PM, will remain open until all passengers are cleared.
In addition, they have added a 12 noon ferry from Road Town to Charlotte Amalie also operating only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There are a number of flights into St. Thomas that arrive after 4 PM that visitors can now consider as an option for getting to the BVI. The new late ferry is only scheduled to run until December 31st. No plans have been announced for 2020.
