Bedroom Descriptions

Bedroom South 1 – This air-conditioned master bedroom is accessed adjacent to the stairs leading to the second story master bedroom. A wide private balcony off the room overlooks Mahoe Bay beach. A large glass block walled shower permits guests to take in the view as they shower. Parents with younger children may wish to stay in this room as children in bedroom two up the stairs have to pass by the door to bedroom one to leave the great room.

Bedroom South 2 – This air-conditioned master bedroom is above bedroom South 1 and is accessed by internal staircase from the Great room. This bedroom has two twin beds that may be made into a king size bed. A wide private balcony off the room overlooks Mahoe Bay beach. A large glass block walled shower permits guests to take in the view from the highest point at Adagio Villa as they shower. The bedroom has a 32 inch LED television, VHS and DVD for entertainment.

Bedroom North 1 – Master bedroom number North 1 is air-conditioned and is located in the guest pavilion adjacent to the pool and patio and sits above the villa’s 18,000 gallon water cistern. This bedroom has a king size bed and has features a 32 inch LED Television, VCR and DVD player. As a aid to parents of small children, hotel style adjoining/communicating doors permit secure access to Bedroom North 2. A wide private balcony off the room overlooks Mahoe Bay beach. A large glass block walled shower permits guests to take in the view as they shower. This bedroom also includes a 32 inch LED TV, DVD and VHS players.

Bedroom North 2 – Master Bedroom number 4 is located in the guest pavilion and near the entrance walkway to the villa. The walkway from the parking pad runs along side providing easy access for handicapped individuals. Bedroom number North 2 is air-conditioned and has a double communicating door to bedroom north 1 – a dead bolt lock on the main door to number two can restrict access so that young children can only gain access to the pool area by going through Bedroom Number North 1. A wide private balcony off the room overlooks Mahoe Bay beach. A large glass block walled shower permits guests to take in the view as they shower. This room is equipped with a 32 inch LED TV, VHS and DVD players.

Bedroom Lower Deck 1 – This Master Bedroom is a very private room located beneath the great room and near the pool area. Overlooking the gardens this bedroom has two twin beds that can be made up as a king size bed and one trundle bed providing 2 additional twin beds. This air conditioned bedroom includes a 32 Inch LED TV, VHS and DVD players for entertainment. A wide private balcony off the room overlooks Mahoe Bay. A large glass block walled shower permits guests to take in the view as they shower. If you have teens or a group of youngsters this is an ideal room.

The Great Room

Gourmet Kitchen – Adagio’s great room is the heart of the Villa with a gourmet kitchen, an interior dining table and a sitting and entertainment area. The kitchen entrance exits to the wet bar which has an ice maker and a beverage fridge for refreshments. This permits entertaining without disturbing the chef during those lazy days by the pool. The kitchen itself is fully stocked with glassware, dishes (both plastic and china), all the necessary cooking utensils and pots and pans. Equipped to the highest of standards, the kitchen is unlike many other rental villas in that it is always maintained at a high level. A dishwasher, induction cook top, wall oven, wall microwave and a large refrigerator meet the needs of the most discerning cooks. A high chair equipped counter meets the needs of children for a fast snack. The inside dining table sits 10, however, it is rarely used, as most guests tend to eat outside under the covered verandah at the patio table which also seats 10.

The Entertainment Area – Very comfortable sitting is available around the entertainment area which houses a large TV, stereo unit, satellite receiver, DVD and VHS player. A collection of books suitable for beach reading as well as a number of reference books on sea life, pirates, shells, tropical topics such as plants and the weather, and astronomy are provided. The unit also has a collection of CD’s with island music and other genres and a large assortment of family oriented VHS tapes.

Pool and Patios

The pool at Adagio is freshwater with a salt based ozone system which avoids the use of chlorine additives and which makes the water silky smooth. Pool maintenance takes place every two days to ensure clean and safe water. The pool itself is about 18 by 14 feet in an oval shape with the depth at the shallow end about 3 feet and going to about 6 feet at the deep end. There are steps into the pool at the shallow end with a hand rail. The pool is perfectly situated to give that “horizon” sense while you are in the pool so that the sailboats just float by in Sir Francis Drake Channel. Pool privacy is ensured with a lockable gate at the villa entrance.
