The House – Overview
The house at Quart-A-Nancy Point is one of only a few private homes on Cooper Island. It was built in the 1960s and 70s as an artist’s retreat. The construction is concrete, concrete block, and native stone. It has been fully renovated and updated for easy island living. Quart-A-Nancy point comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults in three bedrooms. An additional 1 or 2 Guests can potentially be accommodated on our double futon. Quart-A-Nancy Point is a smoke-free establishment.
Cooper Island Details and Island Living
Cooper Island, a typical BVI out-island approximately 5 miles across the channel from Tortola, is an idyllic place to live or visit. We are, however, off the power grid and most necessities are self-contained and provided on-site. Cooper can only be reached by boat and there is no regularly scheduled ferry. Charter boat service is available from Tortola to Cooper Island. Contact us for additional information.
