August 2018 Tortola update: The island is a hive of industry! Usually this is a quiet time of year when the Emancipation Festival is celebrated and everyone stops working for as long as possible! Not so this year…construction is going on everywhere as Thanksgiving and Christmas get closer and bring with them the start of our busy season. Restaurants are opening, more of our villas are finishing their renovations and everyone is planning ahead and looking forward to busy times.
