Good News for Your Taste Buds… The Restaurants on Virgin Gorda Have Weathered the Storm!

February 24th, 2019

The Village Cafe & Restaurant on Virgin Gorda

It seems like the restaurants on Virgin Gorda have fared better than most in the BVI. Many of VG’s dining establishments were able to complete their rebuilds and open their doors in late 2017 or early 2018 following Hurricane Irma. Others, such as Mad Dog, are getting ready to open their doors now, while a number of them, including Fat Virgin’s Cafe, the Mine Shaft Cafe, the Rock Cafe, Saba Rock Restaurant and those at Little Dix Bay, YCCS and the Bitter End Yacht Club, still remain closed. The good news for visitors and residents alike is that the result of the completed rebuilds looks like a significant upgrade over each establishment’s pre-Irma version.
