Hot off the press… Long Bay Beach Club Has Been Sold and Will Be Rebuilt!

For all of you who knew and loved the “Old” Long Bay Resort and especially for those that own villas at Long Bay there is finally some good news. I recently received information from a reliable source familiar with the matter that Long Bay was sold in September to yet undisclosed buyer in California.

Plans are to restore the resort to its former glory including the main reception areas, conference rooms, shops and the wonderful swimming pool. The resort will have the same basic format, but cater to a more high end clientele. Apparently, the new owners are focusing on refurbishing the area away from the beach first. There is no information yet on the beachfront units.

Recently, activity has been spotted in Long Bay as they have already begun to clean up the resort. At this point, however, no timeline has been given for the rebuild.
