Villa Matija (pronounced ma-TEE-ya) sits above Brewer’s Bay with an outstanding view of Jost Van Dyke and several other smaller cays and islands. With just two bedrooms, Villa Matija is perfect for two couples or a small family. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bath and is air conditioned for your comfort. A beautifully appointed kitchen opens to an outdoor dining room, deck and plunge pool. In the evening relax and enjoy your favourite movies in the living room on a 58″ plasma TV with Bose surround sound. Paradise has never been so good!

Villa Matija takes advantage of the abundant sunshine in the BVI with a solar hot water system and photovoltaic (PV) panels installed to generate electricity from the sun. Although its not able to generate all electricity in this manner, the system provides consistent power as would a backup generator, but without the noise or pollution. A portion of the villa’s electrical needs are met by the PV panels with the rest coming from the municipal power supply. And don’t worry, the solar hot water is backed up by a traditional heater which provides an abundant supply of hot water whatever time of day you need it.

Brewer’s Bay beach, one of the most beautiful in the BVI, is just a short 3 mins’ drive down the hill. Cane Garden Bay, another favourite BVI beach, is just 10 mins’ drive away. Road Town, the capital of the BVI is also only 10 mins away, yet when you’re at Villa Matija you feel like you’re in another world. Enjoy the beaches, snorkeling or just lounge at the villa.
