I received the following update from Carmen Francis, manager of the Sunset House Villa in Long Bay, Tortola. He reported, “The house has been fully repaired since Irma & Maria last year, and we have been open for business since May when we welcomed our first guests. We were blessed that most of our clients who had booked in advance for the summer kept their reservations. What made it more special is that we had a beautiful wedding at the house in August when one of our guests got married here. This has meant so much to us that we have come full circle, and can say look how far we have come in less than a year.”
Carmen went on to say that the villa now has a upgraded master bedroom as well as new furniture in the other bedrooms. In addition, their new standby generator is up and running which is an added bonus in case of a power outage. The Sunset House Villa is now accepting reservations for the 2018/2019 season.
