Tortola Restaurant Update After Irma

BVI Traveller wanted to give our readers a current update on the status of the restaurants on Tortola including those that reopened and those that still remained closed after Hurricane Irma. Fortunately, many of Tortola’s dining establishments were able to complete their rebuilds and open their doors by late 2017 or early 2018. Others, such as
the Dove in Road Town and Tropical Fusion in Long Bay did not reopen until 2019. Unfortunately a number of them, including De Loose Mongoose, Fish n’ Lime, Tony’s Welcome Bar, The Tamarind Club and The Island Last Resort, still remain closed. The good news for visitors and residents alike is that it looks like most of the restaurants took this opportunity to make a significant upgrade over their establishment’s pre-Irma version.

The next time you visit Tortola, either by land or by sea, check out the following restaurants and bars that are now open. Your taste buds will be rewarded!
